Accessibility statement

Numis aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This is a common set of accessibility rules for websites. We want anyone to be able to survey or review a household, even on a cheap phone, in bright sun, with a screen reader or without a mouse.

What is known to work

  • Text has enough contrast to meet level AA in both the light and the dark screen.
  • If your phone or computer is set to reduce motion, Numis turns its animations off.
  • You can review a household record using only a keyboard.
  • On the pages anyone can open, buttons and links that stand on their own are big enough to tap easily. A link inside a sentence is the size of the text.

What still needs work

People who use a screen reader or other assistive tools have not tested Numis yet. Only automated tools and our developers have checked its accessibility. Some tasks may be hard to do with a screen reader.

Report an accessibility problem

We will add a contact for accessibility problems before any official use of Numis. Until then, use the contact on the About page.
