Who runs Numis
Numis is a register of households in Papua New Guinea. Survey teams take a photo of each house and record where it is. Numis gives each house an allotment address. This is a short code for the house, such as GER-003-0005. The teams also record who lives there. This information helps plan towns and work out what people need if a settlement is moved. Records may also be used for other purposes the law allows. See the privacy notice.
HQ is the head office that runs the survey. HQ checks every household. Records that need a closer look are checked first. HQ prints a register card only after it verifies the household.
Who runs this site is not confirmed yet. When the government body behind Numis is confirmed, this page will name who runs the site and explain the arrangement.
This is a demo
This site is a working demo. Every person, house and place in it is made up. The front page shows a “Demo. Made-up data.” tag for as long as this is true.
